Working with the General Manager (GM), the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) is in charge of establishing and maintaining best-in-class customer services in our retail store operations, usually with an emphasis on either Operations or Customer Service. Merchandising, inventory control, expense control, employee management, resource management, safety management, operating cost control, and overseeing all aspects of nursery sales, nursery production, nursery maintenance, and nursery organization are just a few of the ways the QAM ensures maximum sales and profitability in their assigned portion of total store operations. In the absence of their GM, the QAM holds the keys and serves as the acting GM


The QAM must be able to raise customer happiness, achieve sales and profit targets, and effectively manage workers This role assists the general manager in managing the other store personnel and directly supervises one or more of the following store positions: logistics specialist, customer service specialist, yard superintendent, sales lead, and/or inventory specialist.







Salary:

 $38,000–40,000 plus 

4% sales commission

Providing secure, hygienic, and welcoming environment, including welcoming and thanking each guest, upholding exceptional standards, having thorough understanding of the products, and all other elements of excellent customer service, can help ensure that every client receives exceptional care.

assisting with frequent store management and employee meetings, store walk-throughs and audits, and other methods to guarantee compliance with all corporate policies and procedures. Directing and overseeing the training and development of retail staff, as well as teaching and developing store management in all facets of the business. aiding in the management of loss, waste, shrinkage, variable costs, payroll, and employee turnover. assisting in ensuring proper goods stock levels, adjacencies, and displays, as well as signage and assortment in every area of the nursery. reviewing retail trends, making changes where necessary, and starting them in order to achieve goals and objectives. achieving sales targets through educating, inspiring, guiding, and giving feedback to sales employees. managing product installation and delivery, as well as assisting with and taking part in the store's sales transactions over the phone and at the counter.


helping to manage administrative tasks, such as warranty claims and POS transactions, etc. helping to uphold exceptional standards for aesthetic merchandising and retail environments. presenting marketing and senior management with creative suggestions for growing market share. assisting in resolving any problems brought up by clients or employees (complaints, grievances, etc.) being the local representation of MVN and shining example of excellent behaviors and outstanding performance. carrying out or supervising all safety instruction, including that related to heat, vehicles, pesticides, etc. helping to manage customer service and logistics. completing other tasks and duties as directed.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities are required or more years of experience working in retail. year or more in leadership or supervisory position. Preferable is previous work experience in retail, nursery, gardening, or related setting. solid management abilities and fundamental knowledge of sales and human resources. knowledge of demand forecasting, marketing, and the sales and operations planning process. excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities. Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking. self-driven, driven, and capable of acting in an entrepreneurial manner. the capacity to work alone to finish certain projects and adhere to rigid deadlines. aptitude for making decisions and solving problems. ability to lead and cooperate well with others. the ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and POS systems, among other fundamental computer skills.

Education Two or four years of formal education in management, business administration, or related sector, or the equivalent expertise obtained via extra job experience, specialized training, or formal study physically necessary. This job needs lot of movement throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The worker frequently has to lift and/or transport objects weighing more over 50 pounds. This position specifically calls for the ability to shift focus, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and peripheral vision.

OTHER Frequent travel is necessary; must possess valid driving license and provide documentation of clean driving record.


Schedule: 8-hour workday 10 hours of work Saturday availability Additional salary categories: Paying commissions and bonuses
